The 90s love is continuing to reign in so many areas this spring/summer.
In case we haven't met face to face, I will tell you that I am in that "un-named" portion of the millennial generation. We are the late 80s babies born on the cusp of massive technological (and social) change.
These styles beckon me to my middle school days... a time like no other. Summers were long. You still knew all your friends digits and birthdays BY MEMORY. Minimalism had taken over the fashion scene post 80s.
This season's comfy fashion trends are a nod to childhood goodness and the reminders that long summer days are ahead.
1. Platforms...Especially Bikenstock Platforms.
Trade heels for platforms. Lengthen your legs AND be comfy. WIN-WIN.
Birkenstock Papillo Arizona Platform. Available locally, at 1,2,3 Shoes
2. Maxis with Sneakers
Flirty feminine maxis paired with sporty sneaks. Can't beat it. Could live in this all summer.
3. Halter Tank
Sexy, sophisticated. Available in various lengths good for all shapes and sizes.
4. Structured Retro Swimsuits
Waistelines, anyone? Ever just want to feel more FEMININE and less like a meat market on the beach? These are the perfect suits to highlight your curves or don around the in-laws.
5. Clogs. All Shapes and Sizes
Who says you can't polish a turd? From frump to fad. It's so ugly that I LOVE the challenge of finding TRENDY, almost beautiful variations. Welcome back clogs.
